Inspired
I’ve been busy, making cards and taking care of my garden. I have also been to clickoncrafts’ big sale and got loads of new goodies to craft with I couldn’t belive some of the deals I got.
After having a busy week learning new things at my new job I had the weekend to look forward to – I went to a friend’s wedding and got loads of lovely shots here are just a few of them.

Taking the plunge into the unknown that is my ever growing collection of stamps, I found a Sugar Nellie stamp that I had bought from a stamp expo in Doncaster…
I made this card last night while Jono was setting up this blog for me, I have had the Green Stack Chipboard set for a while now and have used some of the tags to do cards previously, but I have never been brave enough to use the shapes. I had always wanted to do something with this chipboard tree but could never think of anything.
I want to show you my point of view. That's why I got into photography – I’ve always been creative, and this is my way of expressing myself.
One of the most important things I’ve learned is that in photography there are no rules, no absolutes. It’s all about perception, the eye of the moment, and that intangible, un-nameable gut feeling. In this ever changing world you can never know everything, but you can always keep learning and discovering.
On my twisting journey I’ve tried my hand at fashion design, writing and even web design, but in the end I found card making and photography to be the most satisfying channel for my creativity. Sometimes my photos are abstract or bizarre, and sometimes they’re deceptively simple - but they’re always a glimpse into my reality.
